What You Will Do
- Teach Biology to classes XI and XII, using engaging and interactive methods to make the subject come alive.
- Prepare students for the Uttar Pradesh Board Exams, ensuring they are well-versed in the syllabus and confident in their abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students who need extra support or want to pursue a career in Biology or a related field.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Biology and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and career counselling sessions.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a post-graduate degree in Biology, with a B.Ed or M.Ed degree. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a PGT Biology Teacher in a school setting. While experience with the Uttar Pradesh Board curriculum is not necessary, it is highly desirable.
