The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to senior secondary students and contributing to the school's academic excellence.
How You Will Teach (specific to Business Studies — practical methods, tools, lab or activity work)
As a PGT Business Studies Teacher, you will use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in the subject. You will conduct lectures, case studies, group discussions, and presentations to help students understand business concepts and principles. You will also use interactive multimedia tools, business simulations, and role-playing activities to make learning fun and relevant. Your goal will be to prepare students for the Uttar Pradesh Board exams and beyond.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Business Studies to senior secondary students
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans and assessments
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments
- Guide students in research projects and presentations
- Participate in school events, workshops, and conferences
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Participate in school management meetings and decision-making processes
- Assist in the mentoring and coaching of junior teachers
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
- Participate in the Business Studies Department meetings and activities
Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a post-graduate degree in Business or Commerce (M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A.) and a B.Ed or M.Ed degree from a recognized university. You should also have a valid CTET or TET certification and at least 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school.
