Role Summary
Skd Academy, C- Block Rajajipuram in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh invites applications for the position of PGT Business Studies Teacher. As a Business Studies teacher in our school, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to students of classes XI and XII. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching Business Studies and a strong commitment to academic excellence.
How You Will Teach (specific to Business Studies — practical methods, tools, lab or activity work)
As a Business Studies teacher, you will be required to use practical methods, tools, and activities to engage students in the learning process. This may include case studies, group discussions, role-plays, and project-based learning. You will also be expected to use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance student learning. At Skd Academy, we encourage our teachers to be innovative and creative in their approach to teaching.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver lessons to classes XI and XII, covering topics such as financial management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
2. Prepare students for board exams, including the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
4. Provide guidance and support to students on career choices and higher education options.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans and policies.
6. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and keep parents informed about student progress.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to provide students with real-world learning experiences.
8. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and educational research in Business Studies.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, candidates should have a postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, such as M.Com or M.A. in Economics. A Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification, is also acceptable. All candidates must have a valid CTET certificate and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
