Day-to-Day Duties
1. Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for classes 11 and 12 in English or Hindi as required.
2. Prepare weekly lesson plans, assignments, and practical demonstrations for laboratory sessions.
3. Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and mock examinations with detailed feedback.
4. Organize chemistry-related activities, quizzes, and project exhibitions for students.
5. Maintain accurate attendance, marks records, and progress reports in school ERP system.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and STEM initiatives.
7. Guide students on career options in chemistry, including entrance exams like JEE, NEET, and CUET.
8. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide academic counselling when needed.
9. Assist in organizing science fairs, Olympiads, and inter-school competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Master’s degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification from a NCTE-recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience in Chemistry at senior secondary level.
- Fluency in English and Hindi with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in CBSE curriculum and familiarity with NEP 2020 implementation.
Good to Have
- CTET or UPTET certification with Chemistry as a subject.
- Experience in using smart classroom tools and digital learning platforms.
- Background in curriculum development or textbook writing.
- Participation in chemistry Olympiads or national-level science events.
- Knowledge of pedagogical methods like inquiry-based learning and flipped classrooms.
