About This Role
Sdk Academy, E-block Rajajipuram is looking for a PGT Chemistry Teacher to lead senior secondary Chemistry classes. The role focuses on preparing students for board exams and building strong conceptual clarity in the subject. You will mentor students, guide career choices in medical and engineering streams, and support academic planning aligned with CBSE guidelines.
How You Will Teach
You will use lab demonstrations, periodic table models, and interactive digital simulations to explain chemical bonding and reactions. Real-life examples from daily chemistry in Lucknow’s local markets or food industries make lessons relatable. Regular practical sessions in Sdk Academy’s well-equipped lab reinforce theoretical concepts and develop scientific reasoning.
Day-to-Day Duties
You will plan and deliver Chemistry lessons for Classes 11 and 12 as per CBSE curriculum. Conduct weekly lab sessions and maintain accurate records of experiments and observations. Prepare students for board exams through unit-wise tests, sample papers, and revision schedules.
You will also analyze student performance data to identify weak areas and suggest corrective steps. Coordinate with other Science teachers to align Chemistry topics with Physics and Biology schedules. Organize Science exhibitions and quiz competitions to encourage participation.
Eligibility
You must hold an M.Sc in Chemistry with B.Ed or M.Ed from a recognized university. A valid CTET qualification is mandatory. Prior teaching experience of at least 3 years in Chemistry at the senior secondary level is required.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of organic, inorganic, and physical Chemistry is essential. Experience with CBSE board exam paper setting or evaluation is preferred. You should be comfortable using smart boards, simulation software, and online assessment tools.
Salary and Benefits
