Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Skd Academy, Gomti Nagar in Lucknow. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students at the senior secondary level and will play a key role in shaping the academic direction of our school.
What You Will Do
- Teach Chemistry to students at the senior secondary level, including preparation for board exams.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students for board exams, including mock tests and practice sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive curriculum for Chemistry.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching methodologies.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to academic planning.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate them into the teaching curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions and explore their curiosity.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- NET or SET qualification in Chemistry.
- Experience in teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level.
