PGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
The day starts with preparing lab experiments and reviewing the class timetable at Sr Public School. You will guide Class 11 and 12 students through theory and practical sessions, answering questions that arise during labs. Interaction with parents during evenings and occasional coordination with the science department are part of the routine. What you will actually do
- Deliver the CBSE Chemistry syllabus for senior secondary with clear explanations and real‑world examples.
- Conduct laboratory demonstrations, ensure safety protocols, and supervise student experiments.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and periodic assessments aligned to board standards.
- Evaluate answer scripts, provide constructive feedback and maintain grade records.
- Organize remedial classes for students who need extra help in stoichiometry or organic chemistry.
- Participate in department meetings, school functions and occasional inter‑school science fairs.
- Mentor junior teachers and assist in curriculum updates for the Chemistry department.
- Contribute to the Chemistry Teacher Recruitment in Uttar Pradesh by representing the school at local teacher workshops.
Who can do this job
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum three years of teaching experience in a recognized school is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. A valid teaching certificate for Uttar Pradesh is essential.
