Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students, incorporating innovative teaching methods and assessment techniques.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and involve parents in their child's educational journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-aligned materials and activities.
- Participate in school events, such as science fairs, to promote student learning and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and exploration.
- Engage with local community members to organize educational workshops and awareness programs.
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain records of student assessments, grades, and progress reports.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Chemistry, with a valid B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons. Experience in teaching students from diverse backgrounds is highly desirable.
