About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional PGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty at S R Global School in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. You will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students in grades 11 and 12, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for Computer Science, aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach and mentor students in grades 11 and 12, fostering a love for Computer Science and encouraging critical thinking.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary projects that integrate Computer Science with other subjects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science, incorporating new technologies and ideas into your teaching.
- Participate in school-wide professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the Computer Science department, including curriculum design and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Attend school meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculum and teaching practices.
Required Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a preference for candidates with TET or CTET certification.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting.
- A strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
