Reporting and scope
The teacher reports directly to the Head of the Economics Department.
Core duties
Curriculum development and delivery of economics modules aligned with state guidelines.
Assessment design, grading, and feedback to students, ensuring clear communication of progress.
Mentoring and supervising student projects, debates, and economics clubs.
Participation in school meetings, curriculum reviews, and professional development workshops.
Collaboration with fellow teachers to integrate economics concepts across interdisciplinary units.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at the PGT level.
Strong knowledge of contemporary economic theories and practical applications.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month.
Location: Sadar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
