Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of students from different backgrounds
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement co-curricular activities that promote language skills and cultural exchange
- Engage with parents through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings to keep them informed about their child's progress
- Participate in school events and activities that promote community involvement and social responsibility
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and promotes social-emotional learning
- Stay updated with the latest developments in English language teaching and learning methodologies to ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and effective
- Provide additional support to students who require extra help outside of regular class hours
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you should have a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree and at least two years of experience in teaching English to students in the age group of 11-18 years. A good understanding of the latest teaching methodologies and assessment strategies is essential.
