About This Role
Skd Academy, Gomti Nagar invites applications for a full-time PGT English Teacher position. This role focuses on teaching senior secondary students and preparing them for board exams. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in English teaching at the higher secondary level.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Classes XI and XII following CBSE curriculum
Design and evaluate question papers aligned with board exam patterns
Conduct remedial sessions for students needing extra support in English
Mentor junior teachers and support departmental academic planning
Organize literature-based activities, debates, and writing workshops
Maintain student portfolios and track academic progress regularly
Coordinate with parents during PTMs and for academic progress updates
Contribute to school events like inter-house competitions and cultural fests
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in English with minimum 50% marks
B.Ed or M.Ed degree from a recognized institution
CTET qualification
Minimum 3 years of teaching English at senior secondary level
Good to Have
M.A. in English Literature or Linguistics
Experience with IELTS or TOEFL preparation
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms
NET/SET qualified candidates preferred
