PGT Marathi Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
About This Role
Skd Academy, C-Block Rajajipuram is looking for a Post Graduate Trained Marathi Teacher to handle senior secondary classes. The PGT Marathi Teacher will lead board-oriented preparation for classes XI and XII, design subject-specific lesson plans, and mentor students for language proficiency as well as career choices in literature and competitive exams.

Students at Skd Academy come from varied linguistic backgrounds, so fluency in spoken and written Marathi is essential. The classroom mix includes learners who need extra support with grammar, literature interpretation, and board exam writing techniques. Class sizes are moderate, allowing focused attention and differentiated instruction.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE syllabus and exam patterns for senior secondary Marathi. Conduct regular practice sessions for prose, poetry, writing skills, and unseen passages to improve scores in board exams. Use audio-visual aids, group discussions, and role-plays to make language learning engaging.
Assess students through periodic tests, mock papers, and viva sessions to track progress. Organize remedial sessions for students weak in grammar or literature analysis. Collaborate with other language teachers to share resources and teaching strategies. Maintain updated teaching records and portfolios for each student.
Communicate with parents during PTMs and through WhatsApp groups to discuss academic performance and areas needing improvement. Participate in school festivals, language weeks, and inter-house competitions to reinforce Marathi language and culture.
Eligibility
Postgraduate degree in Marathi with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or M.Ed with Marathi specialization is mandatory. CTET or UPTET with Marathi as a subject is required. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in senior secondary Marathi is preferred.
