PGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Role Summary
Skd Academy, C-Block Rajajipuram seeks a PGT Physical Education Teacher to design and deliver a dynamic Physical Education curriculum for senior secondary students. You will lead practical sessions, fitness drills, and sports coaching while preparing students for board exams and competitive events. The role involves mentoring students, organizing inter-house tournaments, and integrating health education into daily lessons.
How You Will Teach
Lessons at Skd Academy blend theory with hands-on practice—indoor fitness modules, outdoor sports coaching, and sports science demonstrations. You will use visual aids, sports equipment logs, and fitness assessment charts to track student progress. Practical exams and skill-based evaluations will be part of continuous assessment.
What You Will Do
Conduct daily Physical Education classes for grades 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines.
Plan and execute inter-house sports tournaments including cricket, football, and athletics every term.
Design fitness programs and sports skill drills for students preparing for board exams and competitive exams.
Assess students using practical tests, fitness benchmarks, and performance rubrics.
Collaborate with other PGTs to integrate health education and yoga sessions across senior secondary.
Organize sports day events, inter-school competitions, and district-level team selections.
Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure lab or field readiness before every session.
Mentor junior Physical Education staff and assist in departmental planning and report documentation.
Who Can Apply
You need a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science with B.Ed or M.Ed. A valid CTET certification is required. Candidates with NET/SET qualifications or prior experience in CBSE schools will be preferred.
