The City Montessori School, a renowned institution in Lucknow, invites applications for the post of PGT Physical Education Teacher. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons to students. Teaching Approach
We follow a student-centric approach to Physical Education, focusing on practical methods, tools, and activity-based learning. Our Physical Education lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a gymnasium, basketball court, and swimming pool. As a PGT Physical Education Teacher, you will be expected to use these facilities to create interactive and immersive learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Physical Education lessons for students of various age groups, including games, sports, and physical training.
- Develop and implement Physical Education curricula that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary programs that integrate Physical Education with other subjects.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and discipline.
- Participate in school events, sports competitions, and Physical Education-related activities.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide guidance on Physical Education-related matters.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Physical Education (PGT) or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or a related field with a Master's degree in any subject can also be considered. Relevant experience in teaching Physical Education in a school setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
