Daily responsibilities
- Deliver well‑structured lessons in Political Science, integrating contemporary examples relevant to students in Lucknow.
- Prepare and review classroom materials, ensuring clarity and relevance to the syllabus.
- Monitor student participation and provide immediate feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Plan and conduct assessments, including quizzes, assignments, and mid‑term tests, to gauge student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities faculty to coordinate interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student welfare.
- Mentor junior teachers, offering guidance on pedagogical techniques and classroom management.
Periodic responsibilities
- Design and implement termly projects that encourage research and debate on political topics.
- Contribute to the school’s annual cultural and civic engagement events, representing the Political Science department.
- Review and update lesson plans in line with changes in the state education board’s guidelines.
Qualification and experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at the PGT level.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to create interactive and thought‑provoking classroom experiences.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary range: Rs.45,000 – Rs.55,000 per month.
