A full‑time PRT (Professional Research Teacher) will join the Computer Science faculty at King George Inter College in Lucknow. Responsibilities
Conduct engaging lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate Computer Science courses. Qualification
Minimum qualification is a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 55% marks. NET/SET certification is mandatory for the Assistant Professor level; for a PRT role, a Master’s degree with a strong research background is preferred. A Ph.D. in Computer Science is considered a plus and aligns with UGC pay scale norms. Candidates must possess a valid teaching certificate such as B.Ed, TET, or CTET, and demonstrate proficiency in programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software development.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a higher education setting is required. Experience in preparing students for national level exams such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or state level competitive exams will be advantageous. Demonstrated ability to conduct small research projects or publish in reputed journals is desirable.
Research Expectations
While the primary focus is teaching, the PRT is encouraged to engage in research activities that complement the curriculum. This may include collaborative projects with industry partners, participation in academic conferences, or publishing papers in peer‑reviewed journals. Salary
