Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced PRT Dance Teacher to teach Dance to students from grades 1 to 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dance education and a passion for creating engaging and interactive lessons.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students from grades 1 to 8
- Develop and implement Dance curriculum that aligns with the school's standards
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Dance with other subjects
- Attend school events and performances to showcase student talents
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- 3 years of experience in teaching Dance to students from grades 1 to 8
- Strong knowledge of Dance education and curriculum design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
