What You Will Do
Plan and execute weekly dance classes aligned with the school’s curriculum for primary classes.
Choreograph and teach dance routines to students in Grades 1 to 5, ensuring age-appropriate learning.
Organize and lead school dance performances and events, including annual functions and inter-house competitions.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects and school festivals.
Assess student progress through practical demonstrations and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain discipline and safety during dance sessions, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of performing arts initiatives at The City Montessori School.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Dance or Performing Arts with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this PRT Dance Teacher in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this Dance Teacher Vacancy in Lucknow.
Candidates with experience in Indian classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms will be given preference.
