About This Role
Dav Public School invites applications for the position of PRT Mathematics Teacher in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to join our vibrant and motivated teaching community. As a PRT Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics education to students of classes 1 to 5. We are looking for a subject-specialist teacher who can design engaging lesson plans and deliver them effectively.
How You Will Teach
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for using practical methods, tools, and activities to teach Mathematics. You will use interactive learning methods, storytelling, and demonstrations to make learning Mathematics an enjoyable experience for students. You will also use worksheets and other learning materials to reinforce concepts and promote student participation. The Mathematics teaching methods will be aligned with the curriculum prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Board.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver lesson plans for Mathematics classes 1 to 5.
2. Use practical methods, tools, and activities to teach Mathematics concepts.
3. Prepare and use worksheets, demonstrations, and storytelling to reinforce concepts.
4. Promote student participation and engagement in Mathematics classes.
5. Use technology to enhance Mathematics teaching and learning.
6. Maintain a well-organized and student-friendly classroom environment.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
8. Participate in school-wide Mathematics Olympiads and other activities.
Who Can Apply
To apply for this position, you should have a graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. You should also have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and be certified to teach Mathematics in Uttar Pradesh. While a CTET or TET certification is not required, it is an added advantage. We are looking for a motivated teacher with a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students of classes 1 to 5.

- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to use technology to enhance Mathematics teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Perks and Pay
We offer a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.40,000 per month. The salary will be paid on a monthly basis.
