S R Global School, a reputable educational institution in Lucknow, is seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Music classes, fostering their creative expression and musical talents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Music and a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences.
Teaching Approach
At S R Global School, we employ a student-centered approach to Music education, incorporating practical methods, tools, and activities to foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Our Music Teacher will use a variety of instructional strategies, including lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and performances, to engage students and promote music appreciation and skill development.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Music classes to students from Class I to Class XII, using a variety of instructional materials and resources.
2. Plan and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
3. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
4. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement integrated curriculum units.
5. Lead school ensembles, bands, or choirs, and participate in school music events and performances.
6. Develop and maintain a safe and organized Music classroom environment.
7. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and music-related events.
8. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Music education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Music or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. You must also be proficient in English and Hindi, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
