What You Will Do
Plan weekly music activities and maintain a resource log of instruments and audio-visual aids.
Conduct singing sessions with clear pronunciation and expression, focusing on Hindi and English songs.
Organize annual or term-end music presentations to showcase student talent.
Prepare simple worksheets for note recognition, rhythm patterns, and instrument identification.
Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate music with subjects like English and EVS.
Assess students through participation, observation, and short quizzes on musical terms.
Communicate progress to parents during PTMs using simple musical milestones.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to school events where music is featured.
Eligibility
Graduate in Music with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in primary classes.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a focus on arts education is preferred.
Basic familiarity with TET/CTET concepts is welcome but not mandatory.
