PRT Music Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
About This Role
As a PRT Music Teacher at Skd Academy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, you will be responsible for teaching music to primary students (1st to 5th grade) and creating a fun, engaging learning environment. You will be expected to follow the school's curriculum and teaching methods to ensure students develop a strong foundation in music. What You Will Do
1. Teach music to primary students using various techniques, including demonstrations, storytelling, and interactive learning methods.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
3. Use practical classroom activities, worksheets, and demonstrations to teach music concepts.
4. Encourage student participation and engagement in music activities.
5. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents through regular reports and parent-teacher meetings.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement music events and activities.
7. Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes discipline and respect.
8. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns.
9. Participate in school events and activities, such as music concerts and festivals.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Graduate degree in Music or a related field
- B.Ed degree or equivalent
- D.El.Ed or NET/SET certification is desirable
- Experience in teaching music to primary students (1st to 5th grade)
Good to Have:
- M.Ed degree or equivalent
- M.A. or M.Sc degree in Music or a related field
- Experience in teaching music to students with special needs
