About This Role
Skd Academy is looking for a PRT Science Teacher for Grades 1 to 5 in Lucknow. The role is a full-time position focused on making science engaging through stories, experiments, and hands-on activities for young learners. You will work closely with the primary team to build a strong science foundation while maintaining classroom discipline and parent communication.
Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly science lessons that include simple experiments, worksheets, and interactive quizzes for primary students. Integrate storytelling around scientific concepts to make learning memorable in every classroom session. Conduct monthly science fairs and demonstrations to encourage student participation and curiosity.
Prepare students for internal assessments with age-appropriate question papers and practical tasks. Use charts, models, and digital slides to explain basic science topics in Hindi and English as per the school’s bilingual approach. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to align science activities with ongoing themes in the primary curriculum.
Track student progress through observation sheets and quick feedback sessions after each activity. Organize outdoor learning visits to local gardens or parks to observe plants, weather, and simple physics in daily life. Report student progress to parents during PTMs and through WhatsApp groups for quick updates.
Eligibility
Graduate in Science with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 3 years of experience in primary science teaching. TET or CTET qualified candidates will be preferred for this Science Teacher Job in Lucknow.
