Day-to-Day Duties
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students to address various issues such as anxiety, depression, and academic stress.
- Develop and implement programmes to promote mental health awareness and stress management techniques among students and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers to provide support and guidance to students with special needs.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify students who may require additional support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local mental health professionals and organizations to provide additional resources for students and families.
- Provide training and workshops for teachers and staff on topics related to mental health and classroom management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for handling crisis situations and supporting students in distress.
- Provide support and guidance to parents on how to support their child's mental health and well-being.
- Conduct research and gather data to improve our understanding of student needs and develop evidence-based interventions.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g. Counselling, Clinical Psychology).
- Post-graduate degree in Education (e.g. M.Ed, M.A. in Education) is an added advantage.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is not required for this role.
- NET or SET qualification is not necessary for this role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a school setting, preferably as a Psychological Counsellor or in a related role.
