What You Will Do
As a Psychological Counsellor at The City Montessori School, you will be responsible for:
Providing confidential counselling services to students, teachers, and staff, addressing issues such as academic stress, anxiety, and personal problems.
Developing and implementing school-wide mental health programs and initiatives to promote a positive school culture.
Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Conducting workshops and training sessions on mental health and wellness topics.
Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and counselling sessions.
Providing referrals to external resources and services as needed.
Building and maintaining relationships with community mental health professionals and organizations.
Participating in school committees and teams focused on student welfare and well-being.
Required Qualifications
We seek a highly qualified and experienced Psychological Counsellor who holds a postgraduate degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a school setting, particularly in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
