Seth M.r Jaipuria School

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Bansal Campus, has been a part of Lucknow’s educational landscape for more than a decade now, and in that time it has woven itself into the fabric of the neighbourhood on Sitapur Road. The school stands behind Sewa Hospital, a familiar landmark for many families, and its three‑acre green campus has become a place where children from the surrounding colonies and beyond come to learn, play and grow together. Over the years we have watched generations of students walk across the same lawns, and the sense that the school belongs to the community is something we all feel deeply.

Our guiding values are simple but steady: respect for each other, curiosity about the world, and a commitment to doing what is right. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, but the heart of our teaching lies in putting the child at the centre of every lesson, encouraging questions and letting them test ideas through experiments in our well‑stocked science labs or by coding in the computer rooms. We blend the CBSE curriculum with activities that let students see how mathematics, language and science fit into everyday life, and we make sure that moral lessons are not just words on a wall but part of the daily routine, whether it is a discussion after a school assembly or a community service project in the local market.

A typical day for a student at Jaipuria begins with a morning assembly that celebrates the diversity of Indian culture, followed by lessons that move fluidly between textbooks and hands‑on work. After class, many of them head to the expansive sports grounds for a game of cricket or football, or they might spend time in the zoological corner observing small creatures that reinforce lessons about ecosystems. The school encourages participation in inter‑school contests, national Olympiads, spelling bees and cultural festivals, so pupils get a taste of competition and collaboration beyond our walls. By the time they leave the campus, they carry not only academic knowledge but also memories of rainwater harvesting projects, teamwork on the field, and friendships that extend into the wider Lucknow community.
