About This Role
S R Global School seeks a Special Educator to join our administration team in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. As a Special Educator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and support of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the implementation of special education programs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of students with special needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication.
- Manage and coordinate the special education budget.
- Provide training and support to teachers on inclusive practices and special education methodologies.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to special education.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students with special needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- A graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., special education, psychology, social work).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a special education setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
Good to Have:
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification.
- TET/CTET certification.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs.
