Saint Martins Academy | Lucknow is looking for a dynamic professional to manage and develop its sports programme in Sarojani Nagar, Lucknow. The candidate will oversee all sporting activities, coordinate inter‑school events and ensure safe, well‑maintained facilities for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and supervise daily sports sessions and extra‑curricular competitions.
- Manage inventory of sports equipment, arrange maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Liaise with external coaches, clubs and sports associations for workshops and tournaments.
- Prepare schedules, maintain attendance records and report performance metrics to school administration.
- Lead the selection and training of student teams for district and state level competitions.
- Conduct regular audits of playgrounds, gymnasiums and related infrastructure.
- Mentor junior staff and volunteers in best practices for sports management.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities with at least 3 years of experience in school sports administration.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, staff and external partners.
- Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation and event planning.
- Ability to enforce discipline, safety protocols and promote a healthy sporting culture.
- Familiarity with local sports regulations and school‑level competition formats.
Qualifications & Salary
A graduate degree is essential; candidates should hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and preferably possess TET/CTET certification. The role offers a salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
