King George Inter College, Lucknow is hiring a full‑time TGT – Biology to join its undergraduate science faculty. The position is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and offers a salary range of Rs.20,000 – Rs.40,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will conduct lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for undergraduate Biology courses as per the college syllabus. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating and evaluating assignments, and maintaining laboratory safety standards. The teacher will also assist in the preparation of question papers and conduct internal assessments in accordance with university guidelines.
Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Biology or a related discipline with at least 55% marks. Successful applicants should have cleared the UGC‑NET or SET examination; a Ph.D. is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a valid NET/SET score and up to two years of teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience
A maximum of two years of teaching experience at the college level is acceptable. Candidates with limited classroom exposure but a strong grasp of subject fundamentals and a willingness to engage students are suitable for this entry‑level role.
