Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled TGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at The City Montessori School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 9 to 12. The role requires a strong understanding of the subject matter and excellent teaching skills to inspire and motivate students.
What You Will Do
- Deliver interactive and engaging Chemistry lessons to students from Class 9 to 12
- Prepare and administer assessments and exams to evaluate student progress
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry and integrate them into the curriculum
- Supervise students during Chemistry experiments and ensure their safety
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Chemistry
- TET or CTET certification preferred but not required
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 per month. In addition to the salary, the school offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
