TGT Computer Science Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
About This Role
As a senior-level TGT Computer Science Teacher at Skd Academy, Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, you will be responsible for leading the Computer Science department and mentoring junior staff. With a strong track record of improving board results, you will be expected to contribute to the school's academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement curriculum for Computer Science from classes 6 to 10, ensuring it aligns with CBSE guidelines and meets the needs of students.
2. Teach Computer Science to classes 6 to 10, using innovative teaching methods to promote conceptual understanding and skills development.
3. Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their teaching skills and subject knowledge.
4. Conduct periodic assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic policies and procedures for the Computer Science department.
6. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculum development, teaching methods, and student performance.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
8. Participate in school activities, such as fairs and competitions, to promote Computer Science and demonstrate its relevance to real-life situations.
9. Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science education and incorporate new ideas and resources into the curriculum.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* A valid CTET or TET certificate
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
* NET or SET qualification preferred
