Your Students

As a TGT Dance Teacher, you will be working with students from class 6 to 10, guiding them through the intricacies of dance and helping them develop their performance skills. You will be responsible for creating a conducive learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and a love for dance.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons for students, incorporating various dance forms and styles.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's dance curriculum.
- Organize and participate in school dance events and performances.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to school safety protocols.
- Communicate with parents and guardians through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings.
- Contribute to the school's dance club and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on the latest dance trends.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the school's dance policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Dance or a related field (M.A., M.Sc., or M.F.A.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree (CTET qualified).
- NET or SET certification is desirable.
- Experience in teaching dance to students of varying age groups and skill levels.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of various dance forms and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and software.
