About This Role (immediate joining preferred)
Skd Academy, a reputable school in Lucknow, needs a highly qualified English Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience in teaching English to students of classes 6th to 10th.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students, preparing them for board exams, and monitoring their performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach English to students of classes 6th to 10th, following the CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
2. Prepare students for board exams, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
3. Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
4. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating practical activities and group discussions.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement English language activities, promoting a collaborative learning environment.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and achievements.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (MA in English or related field)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or equivalent teaching certification
- 3 years of teaching experience in English, preferably in a CBSE school
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature, including grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, negotiable for strong candidates. Additional benefits may include health insurance, paid leaves, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
