Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students in grades 6-8
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Use technology to enhance mathematics instruction and student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching resources
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in school committees and meetings as required
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, such as M.Sc. or M.A. in Mathematics. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certificate is also required. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred.
