Delhi Public School | Lucknow is inviting applications for a full‑time TGT Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The role requires a minimum of four years of teaching experience and a postgraduate qualification. The successful candidate will contribute to a vibrant sports program and foster holistic development among students.
Responsibilities
Lead daily Physical Education classes for grades 6 to 10, designing lesson plans that align with the school curriculum. Organise inter‑school sports events, manage sports equipment, and maintain safety standards during all activities. Mentor junior teachers and coordinate with the school administration to integrate physical education into the broader learning environment. Encourage students to achieve personal fitness goals and participate in competitive sports.
Requirements
Postgraduate degree in any discipline; B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of four years teaching experience in a school setting. Strong knowledge of Indian sports curricula and familiarity with local sporting events in Lucknow. Ability to motivate students and promote teamwork. Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
Compensation
