What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for grades VI to X.

Assess student understanding through regular tests, projects and classroom discussions rather than relying on rote learning.
Prepare students for board exams while nurturing critical thinking and civic awareness.
Collaborate with the Social Science department to share resources and refine teaching strategies.
Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records and progress reports in a timely manner.
Participate in school assemblies, field trips and parent-teacher meetings as part of the school community.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics or Sociology) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Social Science specialization.
Minimum one year of classroom teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level.
TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with CBSE Social Science syllabus and assessment patterns is an advantage.
