Your role will involve nurturing their curiosity about Uttar Pradesh’s role in India’s development and global affairs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with CBSE standards, using local case studies and current events. Collaborate with colleagues to organize field trips to Rumi Darwaza, Bara Imambara, or Lucknow Zoo to enhance learning. Engage parents through quarterly workshops on civic awareness and academic progress.
Conduct monthly parent-teacher meetings to discuss student growth in history, geography, and political science. Participate in community outreach programs like cleanliness drives or heritage walks in Lucknow. Mentor students for inter-school quiz competitions focused on Indian culture and global studies. Contribute to school events like Independence Day or Republic Day by leading student projects on constitutional values.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate candidates with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed and 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science are eligible. Prior experience in CBSE schools or Lucknow institutions is preferred. Familiarity with TET/CTET will be an advantage.
