Role Summary
This is a senior administrative role responsible for shaping the school’s public voice and digital presence. The Content Writer reports directly to the Principal and works closely with the leadership team on institutional communications. The position is based in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
What You Will Do
Create and maintain all official school communications, including newsletters, press releases, and website content. Ensure every message aligns with the State Board of Uttar Pradesh’s values and tone.
Develop annual content calendars that support admissions, events, and community engagement. Coordinate with departments to gather accurate updates and timelines.
Lead a small editorial team of two assistants, assigning tasks, reviewing drafts, and enforcing style guidelines. Track
Draft policy documents, SOPs, and governance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Translate complex administrative decisions into clear, accessible language.
Manage the school’s social media presence, planning campaigns that highlight achievements and foster parent-school partnerships. Monitor analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the IT team to optimize website structure, SEO, and accessibility compliance. Ensure content is mobile-friendly and loads quickly on all devices.
Liaise with local media in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh to secure coverage of school milestones and initiatives. Build relationships with journalists and editors for ongoing publicity.
Organize content audits twice yearly to remove outdated material and refresh key pages. Archive old documents while preserving institutional memory.
Train staff on writing best practices and brand voice. Conduct workshops on digital communication tools and professional email etiquette.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with at least five years of relevant content creation experience are invited to apply. A postgraduate degree in English, Mass Communication, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with school administration or leadership communications is an advantage.
