Pedagogy and Tools
As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 9 to 12. You will use our school's LMS to create and upload lesson plans, assignments, and resources for students. You will also utilize Google Classroom to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Our school is equipped with smart boards in every classroom, and you will be expected to use these tools to create engaging and interactive lessons. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing blended learning modules for our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT English Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Preparing and delivering lessons for English classes 9 to 12
* Creating and implementing blended learning modules using our LMS and Google Classroom
* Utilizing smart boards to create engaging and interactive lessons
* Providing timely feedback to students on their assignments and projects
* Conducting quizzes and tests to assess student progress
* Maintaining records of student attendance and progress
* Collaborating with other teachers to plan and implement curriculum
* Participating in school-wide initiatives and events
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a postgraduate degree in English with a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience and be well-versed in teaching English to students from classes 9 to 12. A TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a candidate with excellent digital literacy skills and experience in using online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and LMS. You should be able to create engaging and interactive lessons using technology and be willing to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for this position is Rs.35,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
