About This Role
As a PGT Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing Physical Education lessons to students of different learning levels in our inclusive classroom in Mathura. You will create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to participate and engage in physical activities, promoting physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Your Students
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and have varying learning abilities. You will work with students who may require additional support or accommodations to ensure they have equal access to learning opportunities. Our inclusive classroom environment fosters respect, empathy, and understanding among students, and we expect our teachers to promote these values in their practice.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and implement Physical Education lessons that cater to different learning levels and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
- Develop and implement strategies to engage students with varying learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate Physical Education activities and events
- Provide feedback and support to students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Physical Education and wellness
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Physical Education
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Education or a related field (M.Ed., M.A., M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. or equivalent qualification in Physical Education
- CTET or TET is not mandatory for this role
- NET or SET is an added advantage
- State Board of Uttar Pradesh teaching experience is desirable
