What You Will Do
As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering dance lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Your tasks will include:
- Developing and implementing differentiated dance lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying learning levels and abilities.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional learning.
- Demonstrating and teaching various dance styles, including traditional Indian and contemporary forms.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement integrated lesson plans that integrate dance with other subjects.
- Providing feedback and guidance to students, helping them to improve their dance skills and performance.
- Maintaining a safe and organized learning environment that promotes physical and emotional well-being.
- Participating in school events and performances, showcasing our students' dance talents.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a focus on dance education.
- Strong knowledge of dance theory, history, and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
