About This Role
Kanha Makkan Public School invites applications for the position of PRT Evs Teacher in Mathura. This is a full-time role for graduates with at least one year of experience in teaching Environmental Studies at the primary level. The teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that connect classroom concepts to real-life situations in and around Mathura.
Pedagogy and Tools
Teaching methods will include activity-based learning, field trips to local parks or markets, and use of audio-visual aids. Practical demonstrations using locally available materials are encouraged. The school provides basic lab equipment and charts for Evs, and teachers are expected to maintain these resources.
Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly Evs lessons aligned with the NCERT syllabus for Classes 1 to 5.
Organize monthly outdoor activities such as visits to nearby farms or water bodies to observe environmental features.
Prepare low-cost teaching aids like flashcards, models, and charts using recycled materials.
Assess students through regular class tests, project work, and participation records.
Maintain attendance registers and submit monthly progress reports to the coordinator.
Collaborate with other PRTs to integrate Evs themes across subjects like Hindi and Mathematics.
Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in curriculum review sessions.
Keep the classroom and Evs corner clean and organized for effective learning.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Evs as a teaching subject.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum one year of teaching experience in Evs at the primary level.
