TGT English Teacher – Little Flower Children School, Mau Sadar, Uttar Pradesh
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct engaging English lessons for Classes VI to X, ensuring clarity of concepts and active student participation.
- Assess student comprehension through oral questioning, classwork and short quizzes, providing immediate feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and daily lesson records in the school’s register.
- Supervise students during classroom activities and ensure a safe, disciplined learning environment.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Prepare and update teaching plans, worksheets and multimedia resources aligned with the curriculum on a weekly basis.
- Conduct periodic tests and evaluate answer scripts, recording marks and comments for each student.
- Participate in faculty meetings, collaborative planning sessions and parent‑teacher interactions to discuss student progress.
- Provide remedial support and extra help sessions for learners who need additional guidance.
Periodic responsibilities
- Organise and conduct term‑end examinations, ensuring proper invigilation and timely submission of results.
- Lead co‑curricular English activities such as debates, essay competitions and reading clubs each term.
- Contribute to the preparation of term reports, summarising academic performance and behavioural observations.
Qualification and experience
- Post‑graduate degree in English or related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and location
- Salary: Rs.18,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Location: Mau Sadar, Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
