About Doon Public School

When a child first steps through the gates of Doon Public School on Kaul Road in Kharkhauda, the most striking thing is the hum of curiosity that fills the air. The kindergarten classrooms, cooled by gentle air‑conditioning, are equipped with bright smart boards that turn simple stories into interactive adventures. In these early days the teachers, many of whom have grown up in the surrounding villages, greet each youngster by name and set a tone of encouragement that feels more like a conversation than a lecture. By the time the first term ends, the little ones have already learned to read, write and solve basic problems with a confidence that surprises even their parents.

As the years pass, the school’s academic rhythm becomes a familiar backdrop to the students’ lives. English, the medium of instruction, weaves itself into every subject, from the chemistry lab where experiments are recorded on digital tablets, to the mathematics class where smart boards display problems that students can manipulate in real time. The teachers, all certified under the CBSE affiliation number 2134476, blend the disciplined structure of the board’s curriculum with a flexibility that lets a budding artist spend extra time on a sketch or a science enthusiast explore a project beyond the textbook. The laboratories, stocked with modern equipment, become places where curiosity is tested, and the digital tools introduced in the senior years prepare the students for the kind of problem‑solving they will meet at university and beyond.

Beyond the classroom, Doon Public School has become a recognizable part of Meerut’s educational landscape. Originating from a 21‑year legacy that began in Baraut, Baghpat, the school has grown into a co‑educational hub that draws families from the surrounding towns and villages who are looking for a stable, English‑medium education.
