About This Role
K.l. International School is looking for an NTT English Teacher to create a joyful language foundation for nursery and kindergarten children in Meerut. You will design playful phonics sessions, storytelling circles, and rhyme-based activities to build early vocabulary and confidence in English. The role is full-time, open to fresh graduates with a passion for child development, and offers Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 per month.
How You Will Teach
You will use picture cards, puppets, and flashcards to teach letter sounds and simple words in an activity-based classroom. Every day includes phonics drills, show-and-tell, and interactive rhyme sessions that encourage speaking and listening. Classroom props, TLM kits, and digital rhyme videos from K.l. International School’s resource pool will support your lessons.
Key Responsibilities
Introduce basic English vocabulary through theme-based picture cards and real-life objects.
Conduct daily phonics circles using synthetic and analytic phonics methods.
Organize storytelling sessions with props and flannel boards to enhance listening skills.
Plan weekly rhyme and song activities that build rhythm and pronunciation.
Set up role-play corners for simple conversation practice in English.
Assess progress through informal observation and keep anecdotal records.
Collaborate with NTT team to align English activities with the school’s play-way approach.
Communicate with parents through simple English notes and monthly progress snapshots.
Who Can Apply
You need a graduate degree in English, Education, or a related field with preference to candidates with D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or M.A. in English. Prior experience of at least 3 years in early English teaching or preschool settings is essential. Fluency in spoken English and familiarity with phonics programmes is preferred.
