PGT Business Studies Teacher Job in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Miet Public School invites applications for the position of PGT Business Studies Teacher. As a senior member of the Business Studies department, you will be responsible for shaping the academic direction of the subject and mentoring junior staff to achieve excellence in board results. With a strong background in Business Studies, you will lead by example and foster a culture of academic rigor and creativity at Miet Public School.
Day-to-Day Duties
As PGT Business Studies Teacher at Miet Public School, you will be responsible for:
- Curriculum ownership: Developing and implementing the Business Studies curriculum in alignment with CBSE guidelines
- Mentoring junior staff: Guiding and supporting junior teachers to improve their teaching skills and subject knowledge
- Board results: Ensuring that students achieve outstanding results in Business Studies board exams
- Developing resources: Creating and sourcing teaching materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and online resources
- Parent-teacher interactions: Maintaining effective communication with parents to discuss student progress and address concerns
- Staff training: Conducting workshops and training sessions for junior staff on teaching methodologies and subject expertise
- Departmental meetings: Participating in regular departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development, assessments, and other departmental matters
- Examination duties: Assisting with the conduct of board exams, including supervising students during exams and ensuring the smooth running of exam-related logistics
- Departmental administration: Managing departmental budgets, resources, and other administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A postgraduate degree (M.Com, MBA, or equivalent) in Business Studies or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 5 years of teaching experience
- NET or SET in Business Studies or a related subject (preferably)
