Job Description
PGT Business Studies Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies to high school students, covering core topics like accounting, economics, and management principles. Develop and deliver engaging classroom lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring clarity and practical relevance.
Prepare and assess student assignments, projects, and exams to evaluate understanding and progress in key business concepts. Use interactive teaching methods to encourage critical thinking and real-world application of business theories.
Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to refine syllabi and teaching strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and student readiness for higher education.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for formal teaching certification.
Three years of teaching experience in Business Studies or a related discipline, preferably at the high school level. Experience in using digital tools and multimedia for effective classroom instruction is a plus.
