Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Chemistry to classes XI and XII, following the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating practical experiments and discussions.
- Prepare students for board exams, providing guidance on exam strategies and time management.
- Engage with parents through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
- Participate in school activities, such as science fairs and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching Chemistry.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
- Participate in school events, such as science exhibitions and awareness camps.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement and academic performance.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Chemistry, with a B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of teaching Chemistry to classes XI and XII. Knowledge of the CBSE curriculum is essential.
