Role Summary
Bds International School is seeking an experienced PGT English Teacher to lead our senior secondary English department. The role requires an expert in English language instruction, curriculum leadership, and board exam coaching for our students.
What You Will Do
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the English curriculum for our senior secondary students in Meerut
- Coach students for CBSE board exams, focusing on language skills and critical thinking
- Develop and deliver engaging English lessons for students, using a variety of teaching methods and resources
- Supervise and mentor junior teachers in the English department, providing guidance on lesson planning and classroom instruction
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and project-based assessments in English
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning, subject specialization, and curriculum development
- Foster a love for English literature and language among students, encouraging them to explore and express themselves creatively

Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in English or a related field (M.A. in English)
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting
- TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
